Bootcamp Terms & Conditions

1. Definitions

The Participant: the individual or legal entity that contracts the services described in the invoice and participates in the bootcamps. If multiple participants are enrolled under the same invoice, the obligations are understood to be joint and several.

The Provider: Francisco Javier Turégano Molina, independent professional, NIF 47051535K, with address at c/ Literato Azorín 42, pta. 11, 46006 Valencia (Spain), responsible for the organization and delivery of the bootcamps.

Turegano.net Bootcamps: the set of training programs organized by the Provider and published on www.turegano.net, which currently include the Engineering Manager Bootcamp and the Staff Engineer Bootcamp, as well as any other training program that may be offered in the future under this brand.

Services: the training services provided by the Provider, as described on www.turegano.net and in the corresponding invoice.

Invoice: the document issued by the Provider for the provision of the Services.

2. Registration

To enroll in a Turegano.net Bootcamp, the Participant must:

• Complete the registration form available at www.turegano.net.
• Expressly accept these Terms & Conditions and the Privacy Policy.
• Submit the registration form.

After receiving the request, the Provider will email the payment information and, where applicable, confirmation of any discounts.

The seat is not confirmed until full payment is received or as expressly indicated on the invoice.

3. Payment

The bootcamp fee must be paid within a maximum of 15 calendar days from the invoice issuance, unless otherwise indicated, and in any case before the start of the bootcamp.

Payment can be made by bank transfer or, where offered, by card through Square's secure payment page.

Payment is a mandatory condition to confirm the seat.

If payment is not received within the stated period, the Provider reserves the right to release the seat.

Prices shown are final. VAT-exempt transaction under Article 20.One.10 of Spanish Law 37/1992 on Value Added Tax. The seller's tax details are provided on the invoice.

4. Discounts

• Early Bird: for registrations submitted before the stated deadline and paid within the invoice payment period.
• Group discount for participants from the same company.
• Other specific discounts duly communicated.

Unless expressly stated, discounts are not cumulative.

5. Cancellations and refunds

Cancellation by the Participant

Free cancellation. Any Participant may cancel within 14 calendar days of booking and receive a full refund, as long as the bootcamp has not started. This free cancellation includes the right of withdrawal for consumers under Spanish law. The model withdrawal form at the end of these terms may be used, but is not required.

After the free cancellation period:

• More than 20 calendar days before the start: refund of 75% of the amount paid.
• 20 calendar days or less before the start: no refund.

Instead of cancelling, the Participant may transfer their seat to another person who fits the bootcamp profile, with prior notice to the Provider. Up to 10 days before the start, they may also move once to a future edition held within the next 12 months.

For online editions, all periods count from the date of the first session. All cancellations must be requested in writing to curso-em@turegano.net.

Cancellation by the Provider

The Provider reserves the right to cancel a bootcamp up to 5 calendar days before its start for organizational reasons, force majeure, or insufficient minimum participants.

In such case, the Participant may choose between:

• Full refund of the amounts paid, or
• A seat in another Turegano.net Bootcamp, if accepted by the Participant.

The Provider is not liable for travel, accommodation or other expenses incurred by the Participant if a bootcamp is cancelled or its venue changes.

6. Participant obligations

The Participant agrees to:

• Provide truthful, complete, and up-to-date information.
• Participate respectfully and professionally.
• Not record, photograph or take screenshots of sessions without express authorization.
• Not share or reproduce bootcamp materials without permission.
• Comply with these Terms & Conditions and the Code of Conduct (clause 12).
• Respect applicable legal regulations.

7. Provider obligations

The Provider agrees to:

• Provide the Services as described on the invoice and at www.turegano.net.
• Act with reasonable diligence and professionalism.
• Use best efforts to ensure a high-quality training experience.

8. Intellectual property

All materials, content, and documentation provided are the property of the Provider.

The Participant receives a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, and revocable license for personal use.

Reproduction, distribution, or transfer of the materials without express authorization is prohibited.

The Provider may record its own presentation during any session, in person or online (slides, audio and video of the Provider and of any guest speakers who have agreed to it), and use those recordings as training material, including in future bootcamps, courses or publications. Before any such use, everything relating to Participants is removed: their image, voice, name, chat messages, questions and contributions, and any information they share about themselves or their companies.

9. Contract termination

Either party may terminate the contract immediately in case of:

• Serious breach of obligations.
• Non-payment.
• Conduct incompatible with the Code of Conduct (clause 12).

The termination does not affect accrued financial obligations.

10. Data protection

Personal data processing will comply with GDPR and LOPDGDD.

Data will be handled according to the Privacy Policy available at www.turegano.net.

The Participant guarantees they have the necessary consents when providing third-party data.

11. Image use

The Participant authorizes the Provider to take photographs and recordings during the bootcamp and to use them for promotional purposes (website, social media, and corporate materials).

In online editions, this includes screenshots and recordings of the sessions in which the Participant's image, voice or name appears.

This authorization may be revoked in writing before the event begins.

12. Code of Conduct

This clause is the Code of Conduct of Turegano.net Bootcamps referred to in these terms. It applies to both in-person and online sessions.

Turegano.net Bootcamps promote a professional, inclusive, and respectful environment.

Harassment, discrimination, offensive language, or inappropriate conduct will not be tolerated. Violations may result in expulsion without refund.

13. Venue and online sessions

In-person editions

The Provider may set or change the venue within the same city, and will notify Participants by email.

Online editions

• Sessions take place on Zoom and/or Google Meet. The Provider will send the link before the first session.
• All times are Spain time (CET/CEST).
• All the sessions of an online edition make up a single bootcamp, so cancellation periods count from the first session.
• The Participant is responsible for their own internet connection, device and setup.
• Sessions are recorded for quality assurance, to share with Participants who miss a session, and to prepare future training materials.
• If a Participant misses a session, the recording will be made available for a limited time, usually one week after the session. Attending every session live is strongly encouraged, as much of the bootcamp's value comes from its interactive exercises and discussions.
• Full recordings are shared only with the Participants of the same edition, who may not share them with anyone else, and are not published. When used to prepare future training materials, they are for the Provider's internal reference only. Recordings of the presenter only, with nothing relating to Participants, may be used as training material as set out in clause 8. Any promotional use of screenshots or excerpts follows clause 11.
• Participants who prefer not to appear in recordings may turn off their camera and choose the name shown during sessions.

14. Governing law and jurisdiction

These Terms & Conditions are governed by Spanish law.

The parties submit to the Courts of Valencia, unless mandatory rules state otherwise, without prejudice to the mandatory rights of consumers under the law of their country of residence.
